I’ve seen in many sites incluiding Microsoft’s ones that VS won’t have an “express” version for Windows Phone development, so it’ll be restricted to VS Pro and I suppose, Ultimate. I’m an indie developer, well, more like a student who wants to develop his own apps and publish them. Will I have to keep working with VS even when it becomes completely obsolete?? I really hope this only applies to the RC version, and they decide to make a express version for WP.

For me it’s even ridiculous, Windows Phone development is the main problem of WP and they decide not to release a free version for it?? Google doesn’t do that, not even Apple!! Is it true?? Will VS express not have a WP version?? Maybe something will happen when the WP 8.
